The Office of Operations focuses on professional development opportunities for state employees to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to succeed in the administration of a responsive, relevant and bold state government. To ensure employees are provided with the skills to succeed, the Operations team provides training in Agile project management techniques, Contract Management, Lean process improvement and Change Management to the state workforce.
This two day virtual course provided by MGT Consulting Group is for those who have no background with the Agile framework. The course covers the introductory principles scrum. (The course fee includes a code for the Professional Scrum Master certification exam via scrum.org).

A Product Owner functions as a subject matter expert for the product to be delivered on an Agile project team. The Product Owner should have direct access to all stakeholders and have the capacity to collect feedback continuously while a project is in progress and provide direction to the scrum team.

*The Governor’s Office of Operations offers scholarships to cover 100% of the cost of any one of the PSF, PSM, or PSPO courses for state employees. After an employee has received a scholarship, they may take an additional course, however the cost must be paid via an ITI from the individual's employing agency to the Governor's Office.
This three course program provided by Villanova University provides training in best practices for commercial and government contract management. The program incorporates Agile methodology best practices to build a skillset for effective and efficient contract management. Courses cover all stages of the contracting process from requisition to contract completion.
