Governor's Office of Operations

The Governor’s Office of Operations ensures compliance with Colorado’s State Measurement for Accountable, Responsive, and Transparent Government (SMART) Act. The SMART Act requires the Governor’s Office to establish a performance management system for the Executive Branch in performance management, process improvement, and professional development.

The Office of Operations collaborates with Executive Branch agencies to define performance objectives, set annual goals, and identify  strategies to achieve the governor’s bold agenda.  Additionally, the operations team assists in process improvement projects, data reporting, and  in the implementation of professional development programs to ensure all state employees have the tools to succeed.
