Vision

To make government easy

Mission

To provide secure digital services that put Coloradans first

Summary

The Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) drives technology solutions and supports those agencies whose missions are critical to serving Coloradans. Our operational responsibility is vast and includes the development and support of enterprise and agency-specific applications; projects, programs, and services; and the state’s IT infrastructure - data centers, servers, mainframe operations, storage, operating systems, local area networks, and the Colorado State Network (CSN).

OIT is home to the Information Security Office, which is responsible for information security governance across the executive and judicial branches of state government, the Colorado Broadband Office and Colorado Digital Service. OIT also manages myColorado™, the State of Colorado’s official mobile app™, providing secure and convenient access to state services anytime, anywhere. The app’s signature feature, Colorado Digital ID™, enables residents to create an electronic version of their Colorado driver license or state identification (ID) card.

A full description of OIT's operations is included in the FY 2024-25 Performance Plan.
