Ben was born and raised in Colorado and is honored to serve the people of his home state. He holds a Bachelors of Psychology and a Masters in Communication from the University of Colorado, as well as certifications in Project Management and Change Management. Prior to working in State Government, Ben served 24 years as an Army Officer (including serving as a Company Commander in Colorado’s own 10th Mountain Division).
Ben lives in Denver with his amazing wife, ornery German Shepherd, and diva cat. He enjoys exploring Colorado’s history as well as its craft breweries. Ben is an avid runner, reader, and is currently studying French. He is a passionate fan of 90s and underground Hip Hop and a die-hard Denver Nuggets fan.
